DescriptionIf you haven't noticed, our design aesthetic leans towards the natural, and if you're like us, you'll think that driftwood is an obvious addition to an aquarium. Unlike Malaysian Driftwood, Spider Wood has characteristic branches that give a web-like appearance.
Driftwood in general can make more than just a beautiful centerpiece to your aquarium; tannins released by driftwood naturally reduce pH, making your aquarium water slightly acidic. Over time, with water changes, this impact on water chemistry will lessen. Driftwood can also create hiding places for your aquarium animals as well as anchoring points for myriad aquarium plants.
