Description

SubstrateSource Alternanthera reineckii (Telanthera Cardinalis) is a striking stem plant with bright pink, purple, bronze, and green leaves. A. reineckii is a true aquatic that grows along riverbanks, both above and below the waterline. This plant can be sensitive to sudden changes in water quality or temperature.

We like to use this plant to add a splash of color in middle zones or in background groupings. For optimal growth, plant the individual stems into mature aquarium substrate.

The tissue culture growing processes propagates the plant in a pest-free environment and with all of the essential nutrients for exceptionally healthy plants. Simply rinse away any residual media that may be attached to the roots and the mat is ready to portion out and plant into your substrate.
